When you install Endless OS alongside Windows, you need to select the storage size for Endless OS. That’s the amount of disk space you allocate to Endless OS from your C:\ drive. Once allocated by the installation process, space cannot be used by Windows apps or for storing files under Windows. You cannot resize this allocated space afterward without uninstalling and reinstalling Endless OS.
The absolute minimum for the Basic version of Endless is around 10GB, but this only provides enough space to download OS updates and install a few apps, so we recommend at least 16GB. If you get the Full version we recommend at least 32GB since the pre-installed apps take up to 20GB of this space. The rest of the space is available for any files or documents you download or create, including pictures, video, music, etc., or additional apps you install. You can allocate almost all the free space on your C:\ drive to Endless OS if you choose.
