Chromebooks that are distributed within a school environment are typically configured to only allow the installation of a pre-approved set of apps from the Play Store.
This means that by default, students will be unable to find the Endless Key app when searching for it, and hence they will be unable to install and use it.
In order for students to be permitted to find, install and use the app, the respective system administrators must first use the Google Admin interface to mark the Endless Key as an allowed app.
This procedure must be performed by a member of your school's or district's IT team with access to the Google Admin Console.
You can observe these steps in the following video:
Schools will typically check that apps and services used on Chromebooks are compliant with laws around personal data and privacy. Please be assured that Endless Key does not present complications here, as Endless Key does not collect data closely associated with the students' personal identities, and students are not required to register for accounts. Please consult the Endless Key Privacy Policy for full details.
